Hello and Happy New year!!!
This book on the developement of creativity will help me in my volunteer work with troubled teens. I offer CREATIVE WORKSHOPS every month for troubled teens or adults with depression and they need to find their inspiration. I think I'll find lines of work in this book that looks very interesting (I saw an excerpt from the book on Amazon and I went to the site of Violette).
I wish you a wonderful creative year.

Ok why I would like this book: I am new to art journaling and have wanted to get my inner eccentric out for a long time! I like to doodle, but I am not super talented with it. I have trouble letting myself try anything that looks like "drawing" to me....You know, faces, people. My husband and son are brilliant artists when it comes to people....me? I am abstract and love color and feel something is "wrong" when I attempt to draw a face...or a body... Journalling prompts would be a wonderful thing to have as I walk through this art journal journey this year. All theses firsts are making me tingle, and sometimes I want to retreat back to my comfort zone and not continue on with making the "mess" I see. I think this book would help me find my muse, or at least give me courage to continue on...but in a playful, soulful, free-spirited way that my spontaneous bone longs for. Thanks for hosting this! :)

I've just discovered your blog through the Roses on my table journal group, which I am a part of also. Been looking through your blog, really like your work. congratulations on getting into the magazines, how exciting is that!!? I have not found a white pen I have been happy with, what exactly do you use? I think I'll put that question to the group. I'd love to win this book, I have looked at it online a few times and almost bought it but never quite could afford it. I like her art and feel it would help me on my artful journaling journey. Be seeing you....

I really need to get back to journaling. I was religious about it at one point. 2011 was a rough year and I just didn't make time. Maybe this is the perfect opportunity to do so!
