Pansies Oil Painting

I'm loving the smell of oil paints in my studio. To finish this I will add more color value to the flower petals, work on the leaves, and redo the lines in the can (see how they are sloping down too much on the right side?)

Cheers,
Darlene

where are the onions?

Darlene K Campbell said...

Go for it Mynx...just expect transition time from one medium to the next. I actually cried a couple of times (serious) because I felt like I was painting with my left hand. I say, "Go ahead and cry but don't stop painting.)

Sorry for the confusion Jackie...the onions is a different painting. It's posted on this blog.

Hi Raylee,
Thanks! I used Rembrandt Ultramarine blue, Ivory Black, Olive Green, Titanium White. This is 3 layer process...paint, wipe, paint, dry, smooth with towel and soft brush, paint some more, etc. ha ha
