It Used to be...

Is this sketchbook artist Tommy Kane?
Nah, if it was Tommy Kane he'd be sketching instead of texting.

Zebra Joins Tommy Kane and Danny Gregory in Sketchbook Skool

Tommy Kane is a fabulous sketchbook artist with a newly released book, "An Excuse to Draw." I admire his work very much. He was an instructor in the newly launched Sketchbook Skool during Session One. Part of his instruction showed him doing a demonstration of crosshatching a lemon...and Zebra wanted to get in on the action.

Session Two of Sketchbook Skool starts in July with the chance to also take Session One if you missed that. Danny Gregory is one of the brilliant artists behind this amazing on-line skool and if you know of his work you know what to expect from Sketchbook Skool.

Stillman & Birn Alpha Series Sketchbook

The Stillman & Birn Alpha Series Sketchbook (5 1/2 x 8 1/2 ) is lovely for my style of illustrations in watercolor and ink.

I just purchased the Zeta Series S&B Sketchbook with extra heavy smooth paper. Can't wait to jump into it. Has anyone tried it yet? I know Dion Dior loves it.
