Hand*Book Sketchbook/Working Twenty Minutes a Day

I'm working in a Hand*Book sketchbook (5.5 x 5.5) by Global Art Materials Inc.

I'm creating a two-page spread every day of July. I'm a day behind...but as artist and author  Michael Nobbs, at Sustainably Creative, advises ... be kind and gentle to yourself...and work in twenty minute sessions every day. Set a timer and have a go at it.

Buy a fun timer here Amazon  (I'm becoming a bit of a novelty timer junkie).

Putting in twenty minutes of creative work a day produces more work at the end of the month than one would think.

The character in these illustrations is a dear friend of mine whom I've dedicated this book to.

Cheers-
Darlene

Creative Play With Carla Sonheim

More creative play with Carla Sonheim's "365 Phew Year Long" class. I am so grateful to participate in her year long classes. I am always reminded to use my "hoarded" art supplies in different ways and to play and have fun experiences.

Click here to see what juicy on-line classes Carla has to offer!
